Job summary

Torch Technologies is seeking an Intermediate Test Engineer/Analyst to join a team supporting Missile Defense System test activities through complex data analysis, system evaluations, and test reporting. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in systems testing and data analysis.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD secret clearance.
• Experience analyzing complex technical data and developing solutions for system performance evaluations.
• Proficiency with SQL and Python.
• Experience developing data visualizations and analytical products.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and systems-level thinking.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to senior leadership, customers, and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced analysis of flight, ground, and simulation-based testing across the Missile Defense System lifecycle.
• Support test planning, execution, and post-test analysis to evaluate system performance and readiness.
• Develop predictive models and analytical approaches to support mission preparation and test objectives.
• Conduct real-time and post-mission data evaluations to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Analyze multi-source data and develop automated tools and visualizations to assess Missile Defense performance.
• Create scripts and use analytical tools to process, query, and interpret test data.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, visualizations, and reporting products for technical findings.
• Author and support test planning documents, readiness briefings, and detailed performance reports.
• Present technical findings and recommendations to military, government, and technical stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve testing methodologies and processes.
• Mentor junior analysts and support team collaboration.
