Job summary

Kinross Gold Corporation's Round Mountain mine in Nevada is seeking a Warehouse Management Supervisor to oversee inventory, storage, and the issuance of materials. You will maintain records, direct receiving and stocking activities, and ensure accuracy and timeliness of warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Warehouse Management Supervisor position preferred.
• Experience with Materials Management Systems (JD Edwards, Mincom or SAP) preferred.
• Ability to supervise employees and communicate effectively.
• Knowledge of mining equipment and materials and warehouse functions.
• Must be 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Ensure received material matches purchase specs in quantity and quality and is available quickly.
• Plan and organize general warehouse layout and make changes as needed.
• Administer daily warehouse operations for efficiency and safety.
• Ensure materials are stored safely and securely.
• Issue or credit materials to users accurately and timely.
• Maintain and safeguard all warehouse materials on site.
• Oversee inventory storage for two equipment maintenance contractors.
• Comply with all Kinross policies including safety and environmental requirements.
• Meet or exceed performance expectations and demonstrate sound judgment.
• Maintain punctuality and regular attendance.
• Assist in developing other department personnel to perform warehouse duties.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
