Now Hiring: Mining Technician I (Temp-to-Hire!)

Location: On-Site at our client’s data center

Join Kelly to work with a cutting-edge data center client as a Mining Technician I. This is a fantastic temp-to-hire opportunity for individuals with a strong attention to detail, technical curiosity, and a desire to grow in a hands-on tech environment.

Schedule Options:

  1. Front Half: Sunday–Wednesday (Rotating Sundays Off)
  2. Back Half: Wednesday–Saturday (Rotating Saturdays Off)

Enjoy a full weekend off every other week!

Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Pay Rate: $20.00/hr

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Monitor data center equipment to ensure peak performance and uptime.
  • Complete preventive maintenance tasks on critical hardware.
  • Rack and cable equipment including servers, miners, PDUs, and network switches.
  • Update and maintain asset management systems and hardware maps.
  • Perform basic network troubleshooting and repair Cat5/Cat6 cables.
  • Register and track equipment repairs in Minder and JIRA.
  • Work side-by-side with experienced technicians to build your knowledge in electrical systems and power distribution.
  • Handle hardware returns and assist with machine deployment.
  • Provide remote support to other sites as needed.
  • Foster positive communication within your team and with leadership.
Who We’re Looking For:
  • High School Diploma or GED (required)
  • Attention to detail and comfort with basic troubleshooting and computer use
  • Associate's Degree or Technical Certification (not required)
  • Willingness to work in varying hot and cold environments
  • Able to lift up to 20 lbs and work on your feet throughout your shift
