Job summary

Austin Powder seeks a Western Mining Technical Services Manager to lead its technical products and services for the Western USA. You will drive blasting design, product selection, surveying, and post-blast analysis, partnering with sales and operations to grow the mining customer base.

You will collaborate with corporate teams to ensure capabilities meet demand, support training, and advance product improvements.

Qualifications

• Requires extensive expertise in surface and underground mining methods and blasting.
• Proven ability to lead technical services in support of sales and operations.
• Experience developing and implementing blasting products and services across multiple markets.

Responsibilities

• Lead Western US technical services for mining customers.
• Provide blast design, product selection, surveying, and post-blast analysis support.
• Develop and implement policies, SOPs, and training for surface and underground products.
• Collaborate with regional teams to meet customer needs and growth targets.
• Support product managers with R&D, testing, and new product introduction.
• Travel up to 75% to customer sites and projects across the US/Canada.
