Job summary

Austin Powder Company in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Technical Representative to manage technical blasting services across the LLC/Region. You will provide expert support, training, and drone-enabled data collection to promote safe, efficient, and profitable blasting operations for our customers.

Key duties include mine planning, blast design, survey and mapping, post-blast analysis, and coordinating with the regional blasting team. Travel up to 50–70% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or 4+ years as a certified blaster.
• Licensed drone pilot with FAA UAV Part 701.
• Experience with blast modelling and design.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical assistance for mine planning, blast design, and post-blast analysis.
• Maintain safe work environments and regulatory compliance.
• Travel up to 50-70% within the LLC/Region to support customers.
• Lead training and certification of LLC/Region blasting teams.
• Support sales teams as a subject matter expert on blasting technologies.
