Job summary

Austin Powder is seeking a Technical Representative to manage blasting services and provide expert support on-site and in the field. You will lead mine planning, blast design, survey work, and post-blast analysis, ensuring safe, compliant operations across the LLC/Region.

You will work with drilling and blasting teams, deliver training, and leverage Paradigm modelling and drone imagery to optimize results. Expect significant travel and on-site collaboration with customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or 4+ years of relevant experience as a certified blaster.
• Experience with blast design, modelling, and post-blast analysis.
• Ability to travel up to 50–70% within region and on-site visits.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced blasting services including mine planning and design.
• Deliver on-site technical support, training, and drone-based data collection.
• Ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and quality on blasting projects.
• Collaborate with regional teams to optimize blasting results.
