Job summary

Barminco is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to support recruitment across U.S. and Canada, based in Denver. The role blends in-office and remote work with travel to project sites.

You will manage full-cycle recruitment for mining, trades, technical, supervisory, administrative, and corporate roles, collaborating with hiring managers and HR. Candidates should have at least four years of recruitment experience, strong sourcing and interviewing skills, and proficiency with HRIS and Excel.

Qualifications

• Minimum four years of dedicated recruitment experience managing multiple vacancies and priorities.
• Experience in mining, construction, skilled trades, or heavy industrial operations preferred.
• Strong sourcing, screening, interviewing, and high-volume recruitment skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment from posting to offers and pre-employment requirements.
• Partner with hiring managers and HR to understand position requirements and priorities.
• Proactively identify candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, direct outreach, referrals and networks.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and anticipated vacancies, incl. high-volume roles.
• Maintain regular communication with candidates and hiring teams, provide updates and facilitate onboarding.
• Participate in career fairs and industry events and build relationships with schools and training providers.
• Maintain recruitment records and prepare weekly/monthly HRIS reports.
• Identify process improvements while maintaining confidentiality and complying with policies.
