Job summary

SSR Mining Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to support major construction projects at Marigold, USA. You will work on cost control, scheduling, change management, and reporting, coordinating with engineering, permitting, and budgeting teams.

The role involves supervising contractors and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance, with field time during construction. Ideal candidates hold a bachelor's in engineering, 10+ years mining experience, and strong skills in budgeting and project

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field required.
Minimum 5 years of project management experience in an engineering/mining environment.
At least 10 years of professional mining experience; budgeting, scheduling, scope management and cost control relevant.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support for contract scope development, tendering, and awards.
Manage third-party Engineering Design Consultants to align with project objectives.
Develop RFPs for defined project scopes and assist in cost estimates and AFEs.
Support budgeting for capital, operating, and project costs; oversee field contractors and ensure safety and performance standards.
Collaborate across engineering, design, permitting and construction teams to integrate activities.
Lead safety and environmental compliance initiatives and foster a safety culture.
