Placements24 is seeking a Mining Site Sanitation Coordinator for a major operation in Upington, Northern Cape. The role oversees hygiene across a large site, develops sanitation plans, manages cleaning teams, and ensures waste disposal aligns with regulations.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in sanitation or related fields and a strong understanding of occupational health and safety standards. Remote-site work requires adaptability to demanding conditions.

Formación

• Minimum 4 years in sanitation management or related field.
• I n d u s t r i a l s e c t o r e x p e r i e n c e p r e f e r r e d.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations applicable to mining operations.
• Proficient in record-keeping and basic reporting.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and enforce sanitation programs for the site.
• Supervise cleaning staff, scheduling and training.
• Oversee waste management and disposal.
• Maintain hygiene standards in ablution and housing blocks.
• conduct audits and site inspections for compliance.
• Manage cleaning supplies and equipment inventory.
• Deliver health and hygiene training to personnel.
• Coordinate with management and safety officers.
