Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering discipline preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in mining, mineral processing, or heavy industrial operations.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a Project Engineer or similar project execution role.
• Knowledge of local building codes and regulatory requirements is an asset.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is considered an asset.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety culture and ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality (HSEQ) standards.
• Coordinate multi-stage capital and sustaining projects from scoping to closeout.
• Define scope, objectives, budgets, and schedules with project owners and sponsors.
• Review design deliverables including PFDs, P&IDs, and equipment specifications.
• Interface with contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment.
• Support cost tracking, schedule management, and change control processes.
