Job summary

NewRange Copper Nickel LLC is seeking a Project Engineer to support planning, coordination, and execution of capital and sustaining projects at a mining operation. You will work with operations, processing, maintenance, and engineering teams to align with the capital plan.

You will manage multiple projects through scoping, design, procurement, construction, and closeout, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget compliance. Strong vendor/consultant coordination is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering discipline preferred.
• Minimum five (5) years of experience in mining, mineral processing, or heavy industrial operations.
• Minimum five (5) years in a Project Engineer or similar role.
• Knowledge of local building codes and regulatory requirements is an asset.
• PMI PMP certification and PE license are considered assets.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to plan and execute projects.
• Manage multiple capital and sustaining projects through scoping, design, procurement, construction, and closeout.
• Develop project execution plans and track performance against capital plans.
• Review engineering deliverables such as PFDs and P&IDs.
• Support equipment selection, vendor evaluation, and procurement activities.
