Job summary

Capstone Copper is seeking a Construction Coordinator for the Engineering Projects Group in the Pinto Valley area. The role focuses on coordinating and monitoring field construction projects, developing scopes and schedules, and ensuring timely, safe execution in line with project requirements.

Based primarily in the field, you will liaise with Project Managers, Engineering, Operations, and contractors to maintain progress, manage material deliveries, and uphold MSHA safety standards across the

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
• Strong reading of construction drawings and project documentation.
• Experience in operations, maintenance supervision, construction, or project management desirable.
• Knowledge of MSHA safety requirements and contract management processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor assigned engineering and construction projects to support safe, efficient, and timely execution.
• Assist in developing project work scopes, schedules, cost quotations, and project readiness plans.
• Receive, inspect, and coordinate delivery of materials to the laydown yard and project sites.
• Monitor contractor, vendor, and internal workforce performance to ensure compliance with specs and standards.
• Track project progress and help resolve scheduling challenges.
• Coordinate activities between PMs, Engineering, Operations, HSEC, and contractors for successful execution.
• Promote a safe work environment and ensure compliance with MSHA regulations and company policies.
• Provide regular project status updates and assist with resolving project challenges.
