Job summary

Kinross Gold Corporation is seeking an Operations Director for the Kettle River Operations in Washington State. You will provide strategic, financial, and operational leadership to ensure safe, efficient operations and drive performance improvements across all site functions.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will oversee budgets, resource allocation, and key initiatives, while fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement to deliver Kinross’ strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• University degree in Mining Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 12+ years of related mining experience with team leadership.
• Knowledge of mining, milling/processing, and maintenance integration.
• Strong safety, policy, and procedural development experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to grow and improve mine operations.
• Lead multi-discipline departments including mine, processing, asset management, and geology.
• Manage resources, budgets, and long-term capital plans for the site.
• Oversee safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance across operations.
• Present strategic projects and performance updates to senior leaders.
