Job summary

Silvi Materials is offering a Summer 2027 Mining Intern position at our Belle Mead, NJ site (and Sand Mines in South New Jersey). The role is a 10–12 week program reporting to the mining manager, with hands-on exposure to the aggregates business and heavy equipment maintenance.

Interns will participate in field visits, assist in blasting operations, and learn the full production process while upholding the company’s safety and ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a collegiate program in mining or related engineering is required.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Learn the aggregate business and participate in field visits to mines and plants.
• Assist in the blasting process, including drill patterns and loading shots.
• Oversee inventory and participate in the full production process and maintenance of equipment.
• Work under the mining manager and follow safety policies and company values.
