Silvi Materials invites a Safety Intern for Summer 2027 based out of Fairless Hills, PA with travel to PA & NJ sites. The 10–12 week program offers hands-on experience in a Construction Materials company’s HSE team, including MSHA certification and field safety visits.

You will assist with safety audits, incident investigations, and the creation of safety training materials while learning how safety standards are applied in real world operations.

Formación

• Enrollment in a Bachelor’s program preferably in Occupational Health and Safety or related field.
• Ability to work a schedule of 10–12 hour days and some Saturdays.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work well with team members and communicate clearly.
• Able to work in manufacturing and outdoor environments.

Responsabilidades

• Get MSHA certified (company-paid training).
• Field visits to mines, concrete plants, and client sites to conduct safety inspections.
• Conduct safety audits under supervision of the safety department.
• Participate in accident and injury investigations.
• Develop daily safety communications and training materials.
• Apply OSHA/MSHA/DOT standards to safety and operational practices.
