Silvi Materials is offering a Ready Mix Operations Intern position for Summer 2027 in the Morrisville, PA area or South/North New Jersey. The internship provides a hands-on view of running a high-yardage ready-mix plant, working with Plant Managers and Plant Mechanics to learn batching, maintenance, and plant operations.

The program runs for 10–12 weeks, with exposure to aggregate handling, equipment operation, and plant visits to other locations.

Formación

• Enrollment in a collegiate program, preferably in concrete industry management, chemical/civil/general engineering, construction management, or materials science.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in day-to-day production duties at a ready-mix concrete plant.
• Learn batching concrete from formulas to achieving the target slump (hands-on).
• Form concrete blocks for client use and company needs.
• Collaborate with maintenance, quality control, and dispatch teams in a team-driven environment.
• Evaluate aggregates for batching and stockpile purposes.
• Maintain machinery from conveyors to hydraulics/pneumatics, and operate heavy equipment (Front‑End Loader).
• Travel to various Silvi Materials concrete plant locations for exposure to ready mix and dry batch plants.
