Job summary

The Hiller Companies, LLC is seeking a Fire Protection System Seller for the Mining Division to drive sales of fire suppression products and tailored solutions for large mining equipment and fixed facilities nationwide. You will develop market awareness, prospect major projects, and build a strong customer base, while providing technical guidance on NFPA codes and system options to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• NICET and/or OEM certification preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years' experience selling Fire Suppression Systems, with mining experience preferred.
• Strong communication and customer relationship skills; ability to design and estimate fire protection systems.
• Knowledge of NFPA codes and fire protection market.
• Proven track record of direct sales, prospecting, negotiation and closing.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites and industry events.

Responsibilities

• Generate sales of fire suppression systems for mining equipment and facilities.
• Develop market awareness and prospect for major projects in the fire protection sector.
• Stay informed on product offerings and NFPA standards.
• Conduct market research and identify potential customers.
• Generate leads and build a strong customer base.
• Provide technical guidance on system types and cost estimates.
• Prepare and submit detailed suppression system proposals with pricing and terms.
• Submit sales reports and forecasts.
• Aim to meet sales targets and revenue quotas.
• Provide exceptional technical customer service and guidance.
• Travel to customer sites and industry events.
