Komatsu America Corp. is looking for an experienced electrical technician in Homer City, Pennsylvania. The role involves dismantling, rebuilding, and testing electrical equipment, primarily for mining applications.

Candidates should have at least three years of relevant experience, an Associate Degree in Electricity, and excellent safety standards. A comprehensive benefits package, including 401k and employee assistance programs, is offered.

Qualifications

• Three or more years’ experience in electrical repair of mining equipment or comparable industry.
• Safety training (Haz-Com, Lock Out / Tag Out).
• Knowledgeable of ISO Standards.

Responsabilités

• Dismantles electrical control cases, panel, cable reels, and related electrical equipment.
• Tests function of reassembled equipment, consulting with supervisor/group leader when required.
• Checks electrical components with volt-ohm meter; replacing or repairing parts as required.
