Aggregate Resource Industries, Inc. invites Mining Engineering students to join our summer internship program. You will work across drilling, blasting, surveying, and field operations on nationwide projects, gaining hands‑on experience under supervision.

Expect rotations through blasting, drilling, surveying, engineering support, and project teams. A strong safety mindset, curiosity, and teamwork are essential for success in this field‑based role.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mining, geological, civil, or construction engineering.
• Willing to fly in/out and travel frequently to remote project sites.
• Basic mining operations knowledge; prior field experience not required.
• Proficient with MS Office and able to learn field apps and surveying tools.
• Valid driver’s license; clean driving record; ATF background check required.

Responsibilities

• Support blast crews with day‑of‑blast prep, materials and controls.
• Assist drilling crews with pattern layout and borehole documentation.
• Aid surveying with field measurements, mapping, and staking tasks.
• Gather bore depth, location, deviation and geology data for decisions.
• Support engineers with calculations, plans, field verification, and coordination.
• Participate in drone mapping and field‑tech workflows when available.
• Maintain accurate field notes, production records, and project docs.
• Rotate across crews to understand ARI divisions and project phases.
