Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking an engineering/geology student intern to apply classroom knowledge to real-world field projects. You will support field work and collaborate with engineers, managers, and production staff across departments, gaining hands-on exposure to quarry and aggregate site operations.

The internship emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and learning the company’s production and quality processes.

Qualifications

• Currently a junior or senior pursuing a degree in Mining Engineering or Geology.
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
• Willingness to adapt and work across field and office environments.

Responsibilities

• Support project work in the field by applying your education.
• Assist plant operations to achieve production goals with engineers and staff.
• Complete technical projects to understand quarry or aggregate site operations.
• Learn the mission of production, maintenance, and quality departments.
