Job summary

Turner-Mining-Group-LLC seeks a Mining Engineer for the Thacker Pass lithium project in northern Nevada to support planning, construction and eventual operations. Qualifications

Requires a BS in mining, civil, geological, construction, or mechanical engineering.
1-3 years of mining eng. experience in surface mining is preferred.
Experience with project management and large earthmoving equipment is desirable.

Responsibilities

Develop ore grade-control plans and schedules for quality material.
Update short-range plans to support project and production schedules.
Assist with equipment scheduling to improve efficiency.
Coordinate site surveys to validate material movement and plans, and assist in progress reporting.
Support engineering studies, budgets, and equipment evaluations.
Provide technical support to operations and maintenance teams.
Plan and track plant waste streams during transition to production.
Assist design and oversight of mine infrastructure projects.
