Job summary

AngloGold Ashanti is seeking a Construction Superintendent to lead the North Bullfrog Project through design, construction, commissioning, and handover to operations in rural Nevada. You will ensure engineering deliverables are complete, align with the project execution plan, and manage contractor performance for safe, compliant execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mining Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• 10–12 years of construction experience in mining or heavy industrial projects.
• Experience delivering projects (> $100M) on time and within budget.
• Strong knowledge of MSHA and Nevada construction regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering and construction drawings.

Responsibilities

• Oversee completion and quality of detailed engineering deliverables to ensure constructability and alignment with execution strategy.
• Lead contractor selection processes and oversee contractor performance through mobilization and execution.
• Develop and maintain the Construction Plan, including methods, sequencing, logistics, temporary works, and resourcing.
• Coordinate NEPA permitting integration with environmental teams and ensure regulatory alignment.
• Monitor construction cost and schedule performance, identify risks, and support mitigation strategies.
