Job summary

AngloGold Ashanti North America Inc. is seeking a Construction Superintendent to lead the transition of the North Bullfrog Project from detailed engineering through construction, commissioning, and handover to operations.

You will ensure engineering deliverables are complete, coordinated, and constructible, with construction activities planned, resourced, and executed to meet objectives. The role supports NEPA permitting, ensuring integration of planning into DEIS/EIS documentation, and drives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mining Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• 10–12 years of construction experience in mining or heavy industrial projects.
• Proven track record delivering projects (> $100M) on time and within budget.
• Strong knowledge of MSHA and Nevada construction regulations.
• Experience working with regulatory agencies and permitting processes.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering and construction drawings.

Responsibilities

• Oversee completion and quality of detailed engineering deliverables to ensure constructability.
• Lead contractor selection processes and oversee contractor performance through mobilization and execution.
• Develop and maintain the Construction Plan, including methods, sequencing, logistics, and resourcing.
• Coordinate early works activities (site access, utilities, laydown areas, temporary infrastructure).
• Ensure safety and environmental requirements are embedded in all planning and execution.
