Job summary

AngloGold Ashanti North America is seeking a Civil & Structural Engineer to design, review, and oversee civil and structural infrastructure for mining and processing operations. You will ensure safety, constructibility, and long‑term performance across multiple project phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• 5–7 years civil/structural engineering experience in mining, mineral processing, or heavy industrial environments.
• Experience designing structural steel and reinforced concrete systems.
• Experience supporting EPCM execution, construction, and plant commissioning.
• Site grading, drainage, earthworks, and infrastructure design.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee site development including grading, drainage systems, access roads, and laydown areas.
• Provide engineering support during construction, commissioning, and start‑up activities.
• Support feasibility studies (PEA, PFS, FS) with civil/structural input.
• Coordinate with EPCM firms, consultants, and contractors to ensure quality, schedule, and design compliance.
• Work with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver integrated infrastructure solutions.
