Job summary

Black & Veatch, ideally located in the Phoenix, AZ area, seeks a senior Construction leader to drive large-scale EPC and service projects in mining. You will guide construction operations, emphasizing safety, efficiency, and profitability while aligning with client expectations for quality and cost.

You will lead workforce planning, manage project delivery teams, and collaborate with engineering, procurement and project management to ensure strong execution and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 10+ years experience in industrial sectors such as mining, oil & gas, refinery, power or heavy civil.
• Proven record as Construction Manager, Site Manager, Area Manager, or Project Director on major capital projects.
• Strong knowledge of EPC delivery, project controls and contract administration.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead EPC and sub-contractor construction projects across mining and related sectors.
• Develop and implement construction execution strategies for safe, efficient delivery.
• Oversee safety, quality, schedule, productivity, cost control and compliance.
• Direct workforce planning, staffing forecasts, mobilization, and labor productivity initiatives.
