Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. seeks a Senior Mining Engineer / Project Manager for the Phoenix, AZ office to lead mining projects across the southwestern US. You will manage project teams, coordinate permitting, and drive design through construction, while mentoring junior staff and expanding client relationships.

The role emphasizes strong consulting and business development skills alongside a solid technical foundation in aggregate and hardrock mining projects.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience managing infrastructure design, permitting and/or environmental compliance for mining projects in the southwestern US.
• Working knowledge of state and federal environmental laws and regulations related to mining.
• Experience collaborating with regulatory agency personnel in the southwestern US.
• Ability to prepare and review permit applications and engineering submittals.
• Proven success developing mining/quarry business opportunities and client relationships.

Responsabilités

• Lead projects and project teams through mining design, permitting and construction phases.
• Help clients secure permits and ensure timely project delivery.
• Mentor junior staff on field data collection, engineering design and regulatory criteria.
• Grow the mining practice by expanding client relationships and service offerings.
