Job summary

Summa Health is seeking a Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon (MIGS) to join our employed physician group in Akron, Ohio. The surgeon should also have an interest in pelvic medicine, with a practice spanning pelvic health, fibroids, endometriosis, vulvar disease, colposcopy, trigger point injections, and minimally invasive surgery.

The position excludes obstetrics. The selected candidate will become a member of Summa Health Medical Group, a large multi-specialty group with nearly 700

Qualifications

• Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Completion of Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery Fellowship.
• Unrestricted Ohio Licensure or willingness to obtain.
• Active involvement in medical student, resident, and fellow education.
• Commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered, team-based care.

Responsibilities

• Provide MIGS surgery and pelvic health care within a multi-specialty group.
• Engage in academic activities and education of trainees.
• Collaborate with anesthesia, radiology, and women's sub-specialty teams.

Summa Health is seeking a MIGS Specialist to join our employed physician group. We are currently considering surgical applicants. The surgeon should also have an interest in pelvic medicine. Our practice includes all aspects of pelvic health including but not limited to pelvic pain, fibroids, endometriosis, vulvar disease, colposcopy, trigger point injections, and minimally invasive surgery. The position does not include obstetrics.

The selected candidate will become a member of Summa Health Medical Group, a multi-specialty group practice of nearly 700 providers employed by the Summa Health System. Summa Health - headquartered in Akron, Ohio - is one of the largest integrated Healthcare Delivery Systems in the state. With 2 hospitals and 20+ health centers, Summa Health provides access to care throughout the region.
