Job summary

Summa Health in Akron, Ohio, seeks a MIGS Specialist to join our employed physician group. The surgeon should also have an interest in pelvic medicine and will perform 3 days in the office and build up to 2 days in the OR with 0.80–1.0 FTE.

The practice includes pelvic health, advanced minimally invasive techniques, and academic appointment with Northeast Ohio Medical University; opportunities across Medina, Wadsworth and Barberton.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in OB/GYN and MIGS fellowship completed.
• Unrestricted Ohio medical licensure or willingness to obtain.
• Active involvement in medical student, resident and fellow education.
• Commitment to evidence-based, standardized patient-centered care in a team-based environment.

Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon

Summa Health is seeking a MIGS Specialist to join our employed physician group. We are currently considering surgical applicants. The surgeon should also have an interest in pelvic medicine. Our practice includes all aspects of pelvic health including but not limited to pelvic pain, fibroids, endometriosis, vulvar disease, colposcopy, trigger point injections, and minimally invasive surgery. The position does not include obstetrics.

The selected candidate will become a member of Summa Health Medical Group, a multi-specialty group practice of nearly 700 providers employed by the Summa Health System. Summa Health - headquartered in Akron, Ohio - is one of the largest integrated Healthcare Delivery Systems in the state. With 2 hospitals and 20+ health centers, Summa Health provides access to care throughout the region.
