Summa Health in Akron, Ohio, seeks a Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon to join the Summa Health Medical Group. The MIGS specialist will focus on pelvic medicine and minimally invasive procedures, without obstetrics, across multiple sites in Medina, Wadsworth and Barberton.

Employed with competitive compensation, signing bonus, loan assistance, relocation and CME allowance; 0.8 to 1.0 FTE potential; academic appointment with NEOMED; 24/7 anesthesia, radiology and women's sub-specialty

Qualifications

• Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology is required.
• Completion of an MIGS fellowship is required or strongly preferred.
• Unrestricted Ohio licensure or ability to obtain.
• Active involvement in medical education (students/residents/fellows).
• Commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered, team-based care.

Responsibilities

• Join Summa Health Medical Group as an MIGS Specialist.
• Perform minimally invasive gynecologic surgeries and contribute to pelvic health services.

Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon

Summa Health - Akron, Ohio

Summa Health is seeking a MIGS Specialist to join our employed physician group. We are currently considering surgical applicants. The surgeon should also have an interest in pelvic medicine. Our practice includes all aspects of pelvic health including but not limited to pelvic pain, fibroids, endometriosis, vulvar disease, colposcopy, trigger point injections, and minimally invasive surgery. The position does not include obstetrics.

The selected candidate will become a member of Summa Health Medical Group, a multi-specialty group practice of nearly 700 providers employed by the Summa Health System. Summa Health - headquartered in Akron, Ohio - is one of the largest integrated Healthcare Delivery Systems in the state. With 2 hospitals and 20+ health centers, Summa Health provides access to care throughout the region.
