Job Description

The minibar attendant is responsible for restocking in-room minibars, charging guests for consumed items, and maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of equipment and products.

Qualifications

• Obtain proper information and reports from Opera, as indicated during training.
• Ensure minibar cart is properly stocked without overloading.
• Inspect guest rooms and inventory consumed items.
• Charge guests accurately for items using the telephone extension.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of minibars and storerooms.
• Inspect and ensure minibars are in good repair, cleaned, and organized.
• Manage inventory, removing expired or damaged products within two weeks of expiration.
• Use FIFO for product rotation.
• Communicate effectively with housekeeping and front desk staff.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Follow up on guest disputes regarding minibar charges to prevent revenue loss.

Experience

• At least 1 year of customer service experience as a minibar attendant.
• Hospitality experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Opera helpful.
• Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical & Working Conditions

• Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally.
• Regular attendance required.

Compensation

$22.50 per hour
