Job summary

Caterpillar seeks a MineStar Performance Manager in Phoenix, AZ to drive safety, efficiency, and operational excellence across staffed and autonomous mining operations. You will partner with customers, dealers, and internal teams to elevate performance using data, assessments, and performance tools.

Role sits in the MineStar Performance Center with focus on MineStar Fleet and Command for Hauling. Travel 25–50% to Caterpillar offices and mine sites; relocation assistance is available.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mining Engineering or related field.
• Extensive experience in surface mining operations.
• Knowledge of MineStar Fleet and Command for Hauling required.
• Experience with mining technology systems or heavy mining equipment is expected.
• Strong safety culture and effective communication across teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME to support MineStar Fleet and Command for Hauling customers.
• Lead Site Assessments, CI initiatives, and performance tool implementations.
• Apply advanced methodologies to define, measure, analyze, improve, and control performance.
• Coach Caterpillar teams, dealers, and mining customers.
• Advise on operational best practices to unlock higher performance.
• Maintain and update operational documentation with insights.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and support teams to enhance offerings.
• Support contractual and non-contractual customer performance commitments.
