Job summary

Ziegler CAT is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain MineStar technology on CAT mining equipment near our Buhl location. A company truck is provided and the role is full-time.

The position requires 2-year technical training or equivalent experience, 3+ years of repair/tech experience, and the ability to handle after-hours calls. A clean driving record and DOT readiness are required.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical college degree in electrical or mechanical field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of relevant field technology or repair experience.
• Experience with CAT mining equipment or MineStar preferred.
• Clean driving record and ability to obtain DOTMed card.

Responsibilities

• Performs troubleshooting and repair for MineStar onboard products (Fleet, Edge, Terrain, Health, Detect, Command).
• Performs field installations of MineStar technology on existing and new machines.
