Job summary

The Chemours Company is seeking a Process Engineer for the Minerals team at the Mill Plant locations in Jesup, GA, Nahunta, GA & Patterson, GA. You will support mining and separation operations to ensure safety, reliability, and productivity.

Qualifications include a 4-year engineering degree and strong communication skills, with preference for experience in industrial production and PLCs. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 4 year bachelor’s degree in engineering or a closely related field.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written communications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, or PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all company safety, environmental, and health rules and policies.
• Learn and understand the separation process.
• Work with operations to optimize mill performance, maximize heavy mineral recoveries, and meet product grade targets.
• Create daily reports tracking feed grade, throughput and recovery using Aspen Process Explorer or SEEQ.
• Assist in engineering, troubleshooting, and incident investigation.
