Job summary

Crouched at Chemours, a leader in essential chemistry, the Mill Plant team in Jesup, GA seeks a Process Engineer to support mining and separation operations. The role focuses on safety, reliability, and productivity, collaborating with operations to optimize mill performance and maximize heavy mineral recoveries.

You will generate daily performance reports, inspect processes, and support documentation updates such as SOPs and PFDs while participating in PHA and PSSR reviews.

Qualifications

• 4 year bachelor’s degree in engineering or a closely related field.
• Experience in an industrial production environment is preferred.
• Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).

Responsibilities

• Learn and understand the separation process and optimize mill performance.
• Create daily reports tracking feed grade, throughput, product output and recovery.
• Conduct daily visual process inspections with operations and support from personnel.
• Assist Process Manager with accuracy of area process documentation and safety reviews.
