Job summary

Chemours is seeking a Laboratory Supervisor to oversee the Separations and Control Labs in Starke, FL and Offerman, GA. The role reports to the Sales Leader and can be based in Florida or Georgia, supervising technicians and ensuring timely, quality analysis results.

Responsibilities include scheduling, calibration oversight, safety and environmental compliance, data handling, and lab maintenance to support Minerals operations. Strong communication and SAP familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four years’ experience in laboratory operations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Safety conscious with mine safety practices and environmental standards.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Experience with SAP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise laboratory technicians in the Separation Lab and Control Lab.
• Schedule and deploy technicians to meet objectives cost-effectively.
• Maintain calibration and maintenance of all laboratory equipment.
• Ensure safety and environmental compliance per MSHA rules and company policies.
• Review production test data daily to ensure reliable results.
• Coordinate with service providers for equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Maintain orderly housekeeping in all lab areas.
