Job summary

The Chemours Company in Florida is seeking a Highland Ops Supervisor to lead daily production for Highland dry mineral processing facilities, overseeing 24/7 operations and coordinating with maintenance and safety teams. You will manage the shift, coach staff, and ensure safe, efficient output while aligning with company goals.

Responsibilities include safety leadership, performance monitoring, and ensuring SOP adherence, with a focus on development of supervisory staff and disciplined

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED) and ability to read and write English.
• Requires people management skills including the ability to motivate and train.
• Must have good reasoning to analyze data for sound decisions.

Responsibilities

• Act as a safety leader to prioritize safety and improve performance.
• Collaborate with EHS personnel to target zero incidents and improve plant safety.
• Supervise all Plant Operations personnel and build a Team spirit aligned with Chemours values.
• Maintain knowledge of processes and equipment and report improvement opportunities.
• Review daily production plan and manage work assignments, attendance and coverage.
• Monitor plant performance reports and communicate impact of issues.
• Manage operators, processes, equipment, safety, and housekeeping to meet quality and volume goals.
• Ensure Standard Operating Procedures are followed and suggest improvements.
• Provide coaching and development to supervisors to enhance performance.
