Job summary

Freeport-McMoRan seeks a Planner I for Mine Maintenance at the Henderson operation near Empire, CO. The role emphasizes planning, scheduling, and field readiness within a large mining and milling complex.

You will interface with Global Supply Chain, maintain SAP data, and support major shutdown planning with senior planners. On-site housing allowances and comprehensive benefits accompany the position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with maintenance experience.
• Associates or Bachelor's in a technical field preferred.
• Knowledge of maintenance planning concepts and SAP usage.

Responsibilities

• Support the area supervisor in planning, execution and follow-up per Freeport-McMoRan standards.
• Attend planning meetings and review work orders to ensure readiness of materials.
• Run runtimes forecasting and monitor schedules for assigned activities.
• Maintain schedules in the management system and ensure data integrity in SAP.
• Collaborate with Global Supply Chain on parts, storage, and vendors as needed.
• Generate site reports and support budgeting and weekly forecasting.
