Job summary

ASARCO LLC is seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner – Mobile Equipment to drive maintenance workflows and optimize resources across our mining facilities. You will ensure materials, parts, and staging are ready and aligned with work plans to keep operations safe and efficient.

You will coordinate corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance, participate in weekly planning with supervisors, and generate KPI-driven reports while maintaining safety standards and MSHA compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related maintenance planning experience in heavy industrial/mining environments.
• MSHA safety compliance training or certifications are required.
• Environmental Awareness training completed or willing to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and integrate corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Lead weekly planning meetings with operations, mechanical, electrical, and mobile equipment supervisors.
• Coordinate daily and weekly maintenance schedules with all stakeholders.
• Ensure parts and materials are ordered, staged, and delivered to the job site before work starts.
• Develop long-range maintenance outages, schedules, and operational budgets.
• Generate maintenance KPIs and report performance alongside corporate metrics.
• Serve as liaison with equipment manufacturers, vendors, and contractors for maintenance requirements.
