Job summary

Jerritt Canyon is seeking an Underground Mobile Maintenance Planner to design and optimize maintenance plans for underground mobile mining equipment, aiming to maximize availability and production efficiency.

Collaboration with Maintenance, Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain is essential to develop detailed work packages, manage schedules, and ensure safety compliance for LHDs, bolters, jumbos, and support vehicles.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of mobile equipment maintenance experience
• Demonstrated ability to develop and schedule maintenance activities for heavy equipment
• Experience with underground mining equipment and safety requirements

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain short-, medium-, and long-range maintenance plans for underground mobile equipment.
• Create detailed work packages defining scope, labor, parts, tools, equipment, permits, procedures, and durations.
• Plan preventive, predictive, corrective, and major component replacement activities.
• Coordinate weekly/daily maintenance schedules with Maintenance Supervisors and Operations.
• Prioritize work by safety, production priorities, and available resources.
• Coordinate with external contractors and vendors when required.
