Job summary

AngloGold Ashanti North America is seeking a Specialist, Mine Maintenance Planner to plan and optimise maintenance for the open-pit mobile equipment fleet in Nevada. You will develop maintenance strategies, create detailed job plans, and coordinate with operations to maximise equipment availability while minimising downtime.

The role requires strong CMMS/SAP PM experience, reading mechanical drawings and P&IDs, and at least 5 years in mobile maintenance planning within mining or heavy industry.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of mobile maintenance planning experience in open-pit mining.
• CMMS knowledge with SAP PM workflows.
• Ability to read mechanical, electrical, hydraulic drawings and P&IDs.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Create comprehensive job plans with required labor, tools, spare parts, and safety protocols.
• Plan preventive (PM), predictive (PdM), and corrective maintenance for open-pit mobile equipment.
• Coordinate with Mine Operations to align maintenance with production targets.
• Manage SAP work orders, maintenance plans, and equipment history data.
• Track KPIs and support fleet commissioning and startup activities.
