Job summary

SSR Mining Inc. in Nevada is seeking a Mobile Maintenance Planner to lead planning, scheduling, and budgeting for mobile mining equipment.

The role reports to the Maintenance Planning General Supervisor and follows a 4-3 schedule, focusing on KPI targets within the maintenance budget. You will develop maintenance strategies, coordinate with Production and Supply Chain, manage vendor/contractor activities, and participate in Operational Excellence initiatives while spending about 20% of time in

Qualifications

• 5+ years practical mobile maintenance experience with mining equipment including fleet component and parts recognition.
• Experience with mobile maintenance planning, preferred.
• Experience with maintenance CMMS such as SAP, Oracle, JDE, Pronto, eMaint, etc.
• Experience with CAT SIS or other OEM Specialized Systems.
• Experience with Condition monitoring practices such as oil analysis, vibration analysis, ultrasonic testing, thermography, etc.
• Experience using Zero-Based Budgeting (ZBB) tool Xeras or similar tool.

Responsibilities

• Participate and support site Operational Excellence Projects.
• Provide accurate monthly accruals to accounting group for assigned fleet(s).
• Manage budget for assigned fleet(s) in Marigold budgeting tool.
• Provide Monthly Budget & Forecast variance explanations.
• Development and update of Maintenance Strategies and Budgets for open pit assets.
• Liaise with Supply Chain to expedite external parts and contractor labor suppliers, where necessary.
• Contractor Representative responsibilities defined in Marigold Contractor Management Policy for assigned contractors.
• Schedule and facilitate Pre-Major and Post-Major meetings with co-workers and contractors.
• Scheduling of all routine maintenance activities (work orders) in consultation with Production and Maintenance.
• Ensure quality work packets are provided to the Maintenance Supervisors for all routine maintenance activities.
• Provide input to Reliability Engineer to improve equipment performance.
• Spend ~20% of time in the field with workforce.
• Support predictive technologies used in Open Pit maintenance (Vibration, Oil analysis, Thermography, MineCare).
• Conform to safety practices and company policies.
