Coeur Rochester, a premier open-pit mining operation near Lovelock, NV, is seeking a Mine Geology Superintendent. You will lead the geology department, oversee geotechnical activities, and coordinate with the Technical Services Manager.

This role requires relocation to Lovelock and a 4 days on/3 days off schedule. The candidate will manage staff, drive safety and efficiency, ensure accurate modeling and reporting, and support continuous improvement across geology operations.

Competenze

• BS in Geology or Geological Engineering required.
• 10+ years in open pit mining.
• Strong understanding of economic geology and mineral deposits.
• Experience with NI 43-101/S-K 1300 reporting is preferred.

Mansioni

• Oversee all Mine Geology staff and activities.
• Manage geology and geotechnical engineering work.
• Set clear performance goals and coach staff.
• Oversee in-pit geological analysis and modelling.
• Control costs and maximise efficiency in monitoring.
• Develop procedures for geological modelling and grade control.
• Prepare technical reports ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Manage production data for reconciliation.
