Solidus Resources, Lovelock, NV, seeks a Chief Engineer to lead mine engineering, planning, and technical governance for a large open-pit operation. You will develop short-, mid-, and long-range plans, drive safety, and lead a technical team in a digitally enabled mining environment.

Required: 8+ years in open-pit mining, mining engineering degree, strong leadership, and proficiency with Vulcan and MinePlan. On-site role at the Lovelock mine.

• Lead development and execution of mid- and short-term mine plans.
• Oversee sequencing, haulage, equipment needs, stockpiles, blast planning.
• Review forecasts vs plan and identify risks with corrective actions.
• Communicate plans and changes to ensure coordinated execution.
• Lead five direct reports within a team of eleven.
• Oversee survey and drill-and-blast functions.
• Coordinate with operations, geology, processing, maintenance, hydrogeology.
• Support autonomous and digitally enabled mining initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with MSHA, regulatory, and company standards.
