Job summary

Solidus Resources, LLC is seeking a Control Room Superintendent for the Lovelock, NV mine site. The role leads the control room team to execute the shift plan safely while maintaining high-performance operations.

This position requires strong leadership, experience with autonomous haulage concepts, and a proven ability to manage resources and KPIs in a dynamic mining environment. On-site work schedule includes day and night shifts with emphasis on safety and operational discipline.

Qualifications

• Must have a strong safety mindset and leadership experience.
• Experience in open-pit mining operations and control rooms.
• Familiarity with fleet-management or autonomous haulage systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and make timely decisions under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead the control room team to execute the shift plan safely and efficiently.
• Coordinate pre-start, mid-shift, and closeout huddles.
• Oversee intervention strategies and escalation paths across the shift.
• Review controller decisions for consistency and safety.
• Ensure proper logging, data integrity, and delay-code accuracy.
• Drive alignment between Control Room, Planning, and Field teams.
• Coach the team on proactive, data-driven execution.
• Manage crew numbers and resources to meet KPIs and mine plan.
• Maintain strong communication with site stakeholders and production priorities.
• Foster safety culture and ensure adherence to procedures.
