Job summary

MacKay is seeking a full-time Civil Project Manager to join its Mining team in a hybrid role based in Albuquerque or Phoenix. You will lead civil/geotechnical work for mining infrastructure, oversee projects from design through closure, and coordinate with clients to win and deliver work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related field.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in NM or AZ, or the ability to obtain within a year.
• 10+ years of progressive civil/geotechnical mining experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil and geotechnical components for mining infrastructure projects with technical quality and safety accountability.
• Plan, provide design guidance, and manage active and closure mining projects; manage scope, budget, and schedule.
• Prepare/review calculations, models, and methods; support permitting and client communications; supervise staff and field activities.
