Job summary

GeoSystems Analysis, Inc., a Trinity Consultants team, seeks an experienced Project Manager specializing in mine closure to lead closure projects for mining clients in the US and worldwide. You will oversee planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring technical quality and on-budget results.

The role requires a 10+ year track record, degree in geosciences/mining/civil engineering, and proficiency with ArcGIS and MS Office. Spanish is a plus; salary ranges from $115,000 to $150,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in geosciences, mining, civil engineering.
• Min 10 years of progressive mine closure experience.
• Strong project and financial management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead mine closure projects including tailings, heap leach, and waste rock facility closure.
• Provide guidance on water balance modeling and geochemical properties.
• Design and manage characterization studies for waste rock and tailings.
• Develop revegetation, cover systems, and reclamation plans for mine sites.
• Manage surface water and seepage control designs for reclaimed facilities.
• Oversee field trials, QA/QC, and timely change orders; document close-out.
