Truity Partners LLC in the Milwaukee area is seeking a Project Accountant to support the financial administration of multiple projects from billing through payment. This entry-level role offers hands-on experience in a project-based environment and a path to develop core accounting skills.

Responsibilities include preparing recurring project billings, reviewing invoices, tracking schedules, managing accounts receivable, and assisting with month-end activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred.
• Previous accounting, billing, or internship experience is a plus but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate financial records.
• Comfortable working with numbers, invoices, and detailed project documentation.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to research discrepancies.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ability to learn accounting systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
• Self-motivated and dependable with a willingness to learn new accounting processes.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and process recurring project billings in accordance with contractual requirements.
• Review project information and supporting documentation to ensure invoices are complete and accurate.
• Track billing schedules and coordinate with project teams to meet monthly deadlines.
• Monitor outstanding accounts receivable and follow up on past-due balances.
• Communicate with customers regarding invoice questions and payment status.
• Enter and process project-related invoices within the accounting system.
• Review vendor invoices and research discrepancies as needed.
• Coordinate invoice approvals and ensure costs are assigned to correct projects.
