Truity Partners LLC is seeking a Staff Accountant in the Waukesha County area for an on-site role. The candidate should have 1+ year of accounting experience, excellent communication, and strong organizational skills. The position offers growth opportunities, high visibility, and a tenured team.

The role focuses on project accounting, billings, and closeout activities with emphasis on MS Excel and Dynamics 365. Salary ranges up to $70K-$80K depending on experience and qualifications.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 1+ years of accounting experience; construction/project accounting preferred.
• Proficient in Excel and accounting software; Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations preferred.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills.

Mansioni

• Set up and maintain project records in Dynamics 365, including budgets, costs, and billing.
• Track project costs with Project Managers, resolve coding discrepancies, analyze variances, and validate forecasts.
• Prepare accurate and timely project billings, including client forms, lien waivers, certified payroll reports, and supporting documentation.
• Monitor accounts receivable and retention, follow up on overdue balances, document collection efforts, and escalate payment issues.
• Coordinate subcontractor payment applications, lien requirements, insurance documentation, final billings, and project closeout activities.
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and financial schedules while supporting reporting, audits, tax requirements, and process improvements.
