Job summary

Acuity Innovations LLC in Colorado Springs seeks a MILSATCOM Systems Engineer to support SE&I for Air Force programs. You will design, plan, coordinate, and execute testing on FAB‑T, MPSS, AFCPT and other MILSATCOM systems, and produce technical documentation.

Required: a technical degree and 1–3 years in system engineering or test and evaluation, DoD experience, and ability to obtain a Secret clearance. US work authorization is mandatory.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of system engineering or test and evaluation experience.
• Knowledge of DoD mission system sustainment.
• Must be a motivated, self‑starter capable of autonomous on‑the‑job learning/improvement.
• Excellent written, verbal communications and presentation skills.
• Ability to understand DoD/USAF test processes and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, coordinate, execute testing and provide terminal operations support on MILSATCOM systems (FAB‑T, MPSS, AFCPT, TDSPP, MMS, GMT, GBS).
• Provide engineering and technician-level support for system integration and troubleshooting.
• Identify and isolate software or hardware defects and provide technical assessments.
• Author and deliver technical documentation including test plans, procedures, diagrams, and reports.
