Job summary

KBR is seeking a SATCOM Test & Evaluation Engineer to join our National Security Solutions team in Colorado Springs, CO. The role focuses on developing T&E strategies, TEMP, verification plans, and evaluation criteria for DoD programs, with travel up to 25%.

The candidate will lead multi-faceted tests, coordinate with IPTs/DRBs, and ensure compliance with DoD guidance. A Secret clearance and a 4-year engineering degree are required, with 5+ years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance is required to be considered for this position.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, physics, math or related field.
• 5+ years test and evaluation experience with DoD/USAF processes and documentation.
• 2+ years leading multi-faceted tests and test project teams, including scheduling oversight.
• Experience with military or DoD civilian clients and managing professional relationships.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; proficient with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Developing T&E strategy, TEMP development, evaluation framework, test objectives and criteria.
• Collecting, reviewing, and reporting T&E data.
• Supporting implementation of a common T&E database for the program.
• Supporting DoD compliant deficiency reporting and resolution.
• Supporting T&E reviews, IPTs, DRBs, MIPRBs, and TIMs.
• Travel to DoD/contractor test sites up to 25% per year.
